Privacy policy
Last updated 20 October 2026
This policy explains how App Goblin Ltd (“App Goblin”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit appgoblin.co.uk or contact us. It covers this website only. Each of our apps has its own privacy policy, linked from its App Store or Google Play listing and from inside the app.
Who we are
App Goblin Ltd is the data controller for this website. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 16029603); our registered office address is on our company information page. You can reach us about privacy at any time through our contact form.
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you use our contact form we receive your name, email address, and anything else you choose to include — such as your company, budget range and message.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic request data (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) in server logs to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept for a short period.
We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry or support request and to provide any services you ask for.
- To keep the website secure, prevent spam and fix problems.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Under UK data protection law our lawful bases are: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract; our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business; and compliance with legal obligations. We never sell your personal data, and we will not send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting.
- Resend — delivering contact form messages to our inbox.
- Apple (iCloud Mail) — our email service.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we go on to work together, in which case we keep project records for as long as needed for the work and for legal and accounting purposes (normally six years).
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask for a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we'll respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. If that ever changes we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
